He Wins DJ MAG Top 100 DJs, AGAIN

Martin Garrix has done it again! Securing the spot of No.1 DJ by DJ MAG.

He secured an incredible 1.2 million votes in this year’s poll, an increase of nearly 200,000 on 2017. The most votes came from the USA, followed by the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Spain.

He’s had a huge year since winning the 2017 title, unveiling his new waxwork at Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam and releasing his photography book Life=Crazy. He is also reportedly working with Rihanna on her forthcoming album, has teased his new hologram visuals and has released a track every day during this year’s ADE.

Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike hold steady at No.2, while Hardwell leapfrogs over Armin van Buuren to claim the No.3, as Armin remains the Highest Trance DJ at No.4, David Guetta has had a good year, jumping up two places to No.5 — overtaking Tiësto. But the surprise in the top 10 is Don Diablo at the No.7 slot — claiming the Highest Future House DJ award in the process. Afrojack and Marshmello hold steady at No.8 and No.10 respectively, while Oliver Heldens — who dropped out of the top 10 last year —rises four places to finish at No.9. Steve Aokihas come down to No.11.

R3hab, Alok, W&W, DVBBS, Avicii, Lost Frequencies, Vintage Culture, Pryda man, and Eric Prydz have secured a place in top 20. However the biggest surprise has been The Chainsmokers dropping from No.6 last year to this year’s No.31.
