Don't Fall For Every 'India Tour' That Has An Event Page

Posted at March 3rd, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in Entertainment

Hear hear, there is news that Jack Ü and Justin Bieber are coming for an India Tour in August now. We find that very hard to believe especially because the event page has been created by a company called Vanva Entertainment which just has around 100 likes. There is no buzz in the entertainment industry and we can say with assurance that this is a hoax. We’re not saying it’s impossible for Justin Bieber and Jack Ü to come to India, but it highly unlikely for all 3 of them to do a tour together considering the amount of capital that would require. Skrillex and Diplo have come to India individually so it is likely that they might do a tour in India but chances are that it won’t happen anytime soon.

Coldplay had gained a lot of traction and publicity when they shot ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ in India and soon after a Coldplay India Tour Event also popped up. There was even a legit looking website, but we did our research and realized that it’s a hoax as well.

The most ridiculous thing was when a Tomorrowland Surat edition popped up for 2015. This was one event that not many people bought because the page aesthetics weren’t believable at all, and Surat as a destination for India’s first Tomorrowland is highly unlikely.

Calvin Harris is the highest paid DJ in the world and we seriously can’t afford him right now. An event management company would have to bear heavy losses unless Harris himself decides to lower his rates and perform in India. We are looking forward to him coming here but it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.

People are so used to RSVP-ing to every event that they don’t even bother to stop and think whether the event might actually be happening. Calvin Harris is coming to India? Ofcourse we are +Going. It’s ridiculous the number of RSVP’s and interested people even a fake event can accumulate. It takes a second to make an event page, and literally anyone with a Facebook account can do it. So next time you see a kick ass artist who is doing an ‘India Tour’, stop and check for a second before you invite all your friends and end up being the fool.
