Why Yellow Claw's India Debut Performance Should Be On Your Bucket List

Posted at April 26th, 2016 | by Supreet.cheema | in

The trap dons Yellow Claw are making their India Debut this May in Mumbai. The Dutch trio, consisting of Bizzey (Leo Roelandschap), Jim Aasgier (Jim Taihuttu) and Nizzle (Nils Rondhuis), rose to fame after founding and hosting the Yellow Claw Thursday night party at one of Amsterdam’s most famous night clubs, the Jimmy Woo. Scheduled on 8th May 2016, the event will take place at Richardson & Cruddas in Mumbai.

We give you few reasons why you absolutely cannot miss the event:

Yellow Claw’s first ever performance in India

This concert will mark the India debut of one of the leading trap acts around the world. The trio has dropped some chart topping hits like In My Room and DJ Turn It Up. Moreover, their recently released 16-track debut album Blood For Mercy featuring Pusha T, DJ Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign, and more has created waves in the dance music world.

The Vibe & Venue

Unlike most of dance music concerts, this event is not taking place in your traditional club or stadium but at one of the most unique venues in Mumbai- Richardson & Cruddas. Located in Byculla, Richardson & cruddas is an 156-year old industrial warehouse that has been around longer than the Gateway of India. The venue has also successfully hosted Road to Converse Rubber Tracks in India. And add to it the unmatched energetic Mumbai-vibe!

The Insane Supporting Acts

Apart from the smashing headline act, the event also features such insane supporting acts as B.R.E.E.D (Live), Muxka Jar Musik, Su Real, and BASSQUE X DJ OMEN. B.R.E.E.D, comprising of Ritesh D’Souza and Tara Mae, pioneers in intelligently-designed future proof sound blended with textured synths. Su Real is changing the face of bass music in India and making the masses groove to contemporary club hits as well as to underground sounds.

For the Love of Trap Music

Even though their music is a mix of wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap music, hip hop, dubstep among others, we absolutely dig their trap music.

Crazy Live Set

Yellow claw light up the entire venue with toxic energy and enthusiasm. They really know how to get the crowd going. Check out their mad Summerfestiva 2015 performance below:
