10 Types of People We Meet At Music Festivals

Posted at January 18th, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in Entertainment, Featured, Music Festivals

A lot of music festivals are happened around this time of the year, which spread out all over the country. People of all types flock to these festivals and there a lot of unique characters you end up seeing. From Enchanted Valley Carnival to Magnetic Fields, we selected the 10 types of people you usually see.

The Hippie

These people are what exotic festival pictures are made of. Coloured hair, funky outfits, tattoos, piercings, the works. These enthusiastic festival goers somehow defy the winter also, and don’t let the cold stand in the way of their noticeable outfits.

The Poser

Everyone wants a picture or two at events with their friends, but some people seem more concerned with selfies than to absorb what’s happening around them. But hey, they’ll probably get a great profile picture out of this.

The Funky Dancer

There are always the one or two dudes in front of every stage who let loose and do the funky dance. Whether they are high on music, or something more is debatable, but they definitely keep a buffer space around them because of their flailing limbs.

The Alcohol Enthusiast

Party people in the house can get pretty amped up on the liquor. Collecting alcohol mugs like trophies has become a thing now, and some people chug up with abandon. It’s all perfect as long as someone doesn’t overdo it and end up projectile vomiting on the crowd.

The Couple

This variety seems to be more into each other than into the music. A lot of PDA and canoodling is usually going down, much to the discomfort of the people nearby. But they’re young, and in love, so I guess we can’t really complain.

The Bored

Maybe they were dragged to attend by their friends, or maybe they just aren’t able to get into the music, so there are usually some bored souls lounging around, waiting for the scene to get over.

The Extrovert

This dude will probably be jumping around all over the festival with attention attracting antics. Bold t-shirts, big banners, loud comments, making friends with random people. This dude lives for these festivals.

The Insta Addict

Yes, we know you want actual proof of these awesome memories that you are making but please remember to live in the moment. Watching the festival through your cameraphone will make you miss out on what’s happening IRL.

The Loner

Quite opposite to the extrovert, the loner likes to do his own thing. Finding your spot and chilling to the music is quite the experience, as long as you don’t have the urge to see everything and everyone.

The Music Lover

The best kind of people who come to music festivals are the ones who come for the Music. Attending the performances you’re enthusiastic about and grooving to the music is the best thing ever!
