Get Ready For Transition 202 With Charlotte de Witte & Dotdat This Weekend

One of the most premium techno event series in the country, Transition was launched last year, defining the shift in the music paradigm. Curating underground international and homegrown acts, with minimal but intense production, the Transition experience has gathered a cult following across the country. We’ve seen major international artists like Paula Temple, Tommy Four Seven, and Anil Chawla raging alongside domestic acts like Film, Arjun Vagale, Jitter, and Kohra in 2016, and now Transition is back and how!

They’ve joined hands with Raw Live for this season, and last week LA producer Drumcell raged across Mumbai, Calcutta, and New Delhi, with homegrown favourites Arjun Vagale and dotdat. The now techno-loving crowds are totally up for these nights, and we saw some insanity happening at the events with everyone who’s anyone present. Delhi even saw British-Indian sitar player Anushka Shankar bouncing in the front row, and the energy of the crowd was absolutely phenomenal.

After a super successful 201 tour, their latest offering is Belgian artist Charlotte de Witte, coming in for a singular show to Auro, New Delhi. Few DJs have this versatility, of playing at the biggest stages to the sweatiest basement raves. Her aggressive, stripped-down approach is a testament to her dark side, while the tracks often feature her own vocals. “Making music really gives me a chance to tap into the more emotional side of electronic music that I love. Music that has that melancholic side to it, I just find it so much more interesting, whether DJ’ing, producing or just listening myself at home.”

Happening on Saturday, the 11th of November, Charlotte is going to be supported by ace homegrown producer dotdat, part of the UnMute bandwagon. With techno as his core, dotdat‘s music is a culmination of ambiguous, dark, and hypnotic sounds with hints of minimalism that make the mind and body move. We’re ready for an absolutely raging night with these two, and if you’re still in any doubt, then check out the Transition 202 teaser below!
