Timmy Trumpet & Dimatik's Punjabi Seems Just Like Another Ploy To Cosy-Up With Their Indian Fans

KSHMR has become quite the superstar. He kick started his label not long ago and it is well on it’s way. The label releases new tracks almost every other week and this week’s release features Australian DJ/Producer Timmy Trumpet taking the ball from KSHMR as far as showing love for India is considered.

Punjab is Dimatik & Timmy Trumpet’s latest offering and the way it ended up sounding is interesting. It’s rather poorly done and feels just a bit incomplete. It lacks polish & all in all exposes DJs’ ploys to get cosy with their cultural fans through these means. It has a well laid-out bass with vocals and melodies that make it seem like it is a remix picked out of a track from a 80s bollywood movie. Everyone all but gets why Timmy Trumpet & Dimatik went in this direction but it sounds like a bust.

Listen to it below.
