This Dating App Picks Your Match Based On Your Music Preference

Posted at June 20th, 2016 | by Guest Writer | in

We all know how important the music is to every being and how amazing it is when you come across someone who loves the same artists as you do. Similarly, imagine you are dating someone for a while and everything clicks but one day you discover their playlist and there isn’t one song you can even stand. Boom! All the liking disappears and you want to run from there as quickly as possible.

Well, now you can avoid such mishaps with the new dating app – Bumble. The app has teamed up with Spotify to put at your disposal a potential date’s musical preferences before you swipe right.

tumblr_o811gfK7Dg1v6cff0o1_540Created by ex-Tinder co-founder Whitney Wolfe, Bumble puts women in charge by letting them make the first move. The new feature of music preference in the app will roll out over the next few weeks. If a user connects his/her Spotify account to your Bumble profile, potential matches will see his/her most listened-to artists.

The app is not available in India but the idea does seems interesting if the existing apps try to integrate such a feature. It will definitely save some time & effort.
