The Ancient Bath Rave in Budapest is Next on our Bucket List

Posted at March 10th, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in

Back in the 1500’s, the Romans built thermal spas in the capital of Hungary that are intended for mental and physical therapeutic purposes. Today, the ruins in Budapest serve the same purpose and attract tourists from all over the world to visit these baths to enjoy the soothing, constantly warm water. Every weekend however, the Lukács and Széchenyi baths are transformed into modern, strobe-filled, insane dance parties. With lazer lights, fog machines, and fireworks, the pools become insane raves for the attendees. The baths stay at a cozy 91 degree temperature year round, which allows these parties to take place in all seasons. Check out how Budapest parties in the video below, and you’ll definitely be adding this to your bucket list.
