It’s Sunburn‘s 10th anniversary of their main flagship edition this year and they have a lot of exciting things planned. Usually held in Goa, it’s one of the most popular music festivals of India and is always held in December. As you may know, this year there is a lot of flak being generated by the Goan government about December being a tourist overload month. You can read up more about it here but the end result is that music festivals are banned in the state of Goa between 25th – 31st December this year.
Now the Sunburn festival dates have been announced bang in the middle, 27th – 30th December, you can check out the official event page here. So we’ve been waiting a while for a venue confirmation, hoping the Sunburn organization would find a way around the law, or even prepone the dates and still hold it in Goa, but now news is coming in that they are looking at other options like Delhi & Mumbai, but the prime contender seems to be Lavasa, Pune.
We’ll keep you updates as more news comes in, and until then check out last year’s after movie. It’s definitely going to be worth attending whether it’s in Goa or not!
