One&One to Twin Cities, they're back!

The homegrown duo, One&One, have officially changed their name to ‘Twin Cities’.

DJs Pranav Sanghvi and Shrey Gopani comprise the young and dynamic duo One & One. They have been one of the closing acts at Sunburn (one of Asia’s largest music festival), travelled worldwide playing their sets, and are very much in demand to be booked for private events. Informally considered one of Mumbai’s best Progressive House pairs, they have enthralled large audiences with their innovative and original mixes, and hope to revolutionise the dance music scene in the country.

Everything was going great for them but they stopped playing shows in January 2018 as One&One. “We felt a change was necessary. We were not too happy playing & making that kind of music, and we wanted to move forward with something else”, they told Grapevine, “With Twin Cities, we have been working hard on a lot of Pop/Future Bass music, and have a number of singles lined up for release over the next four months. With regards to performance, we will be doing a visual set, and playing a lot of Trap/Future Bass and Pop music, with a lot of live samples and traditional Indian music.”

We felt a change was necessary. We were not too happy playing & making that kind of music, and we wanted to move forward with something else.

Every artist comes at the crossroads where they have to decide if they want to keep doing what is selling, or to make things they want to make. The latter is harder to do, as it comes with the anticipation of losing fans or just letting them down. The duo seems to have chosen the later but they seem extremely positive and enthusiastic about their future.

Change is necessary, and we hope this one is here to blow our minds!
