Omnia: The 107 Million Dollar Nightclub That Will Make Your Jaw Drop

Plush, extravagant and opulent are just some of the words that have been used to describe the palatial nightclub that is Omnia.

A venture by the global hospitality group Hakkasan, Omnia replaces the popular nightclub Pure at Caesar’s Palace and is twice as big – at a mammoth 75,000 square feet, Omnia is one of the largest clubs at Las Vegas.

Designed by the Rockwell Group and lighting designed by U2’s set designer, Omnia is a one of a kind in the casino capital that has a thriving nightlife. Leaving no stone unturned, the club utilizes state of the art technology to accompany the luxurious interiors. Guests are welcomed at gold ticketing kiosks and are led to the main corridor covered in stone tile and granite imported from Spain, Italy, Hungary, Budapest and China. LCD portals with motion detecting technology are embedded into the walkway that give a unique experience when one enters main club, while advanced climate control systems inside the club keep your drinks cold and minimize the dance floor heat.

Omnia, meaning ‘all things’ in Latin, consists of a breathtaking 65 foot tall ceiling dome, the bar area and grand staircases leading up to balconies that provide a remarkable view of the dancefloor below. The focal point of the club is of course, the $5M kinetic chandelier. The spaceship like structure weighs 22,000 pounds and consists of 8 concentric rings that are armed with dramatic lighting elements, video projectors, choreographed LEDsalong with motion detectors to make sure the chandelier is in sync with the dance floor. The club is also the only one in Vegas to use L-Acoustics technology where even the lowest of frequencies are crystal clear.

Above the venue is the rooftop bar boasting of a panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip and a 50-foot long bar with DJ booths and soft LED lighting strips for the perfect setting at dusk.

As if this wasn’t reason enough to visit the megaclub, Omnia unveiled itself this spring with the opening performance by Calvin Harris. The nightclub has also signed on an expensive yet stellar set of resident DJs apart from Harris, including Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Chuckie, Oliver Helden, Showtek, Nicky Romero as well as female duos Nervo and Krewella. The select DJs are already on rotation at the venue all through summer and tickets for the events are on sale to the general public. However, keeping with the lavish theme, table bookings cost upwards of $1000.

Omnia also has a San Diego counterpart, but the grandiose Las Vegas club has quickly become the ultimate spot for celebrities to party at in Vegas what with Justin Bieber recently celebrating his 21st birthday at the club with Martin Garrixon the decks.

Already on the bucket list of clubbing enthusiasts, a major league DJ line-up like that and the audio-visual treat that the venue provides has turned Omnia into a must-visit for electronic music lovers.
