Why Bacardi Nh7 Weekender Is The Ultimate Festival To Attend

Posted at October 18th, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in

Bacardi Nh7 Weekender is quoted as the “happiest music festival” and we’re in total agreement, but it’s also a more than that. With 40+ artists performing at the each of the major venues, music is definitely the central theme, but there is a lot more going on for the attendees. From the ever-present Ferris wheel, to unique mocktail bars, here are some specialties of the Weekender which will make you want to attend!

Super Games & Technology

screen-shot-2016-10-18-at-4-38-28-pmInteractive games, new tech, and luxury brands are all a part of the set up. From giant versions of beer pong to cookie eating contests, there are always some fun games organized. Last year there was even a mini car racing game sponsored by Ola cabs, with a playstation up for grabs! Brand like Motorala and Mercedes have tied up with the festival previously so they’re sure to have some cool tech collaborations this time too!

Creative Art & Fashion

There is always some focus on art and fashion, and this year they’re hosting a NH7 Periphery Art Project, showcasing 30 artists. They’ve also previously had DIY T-shirt corner and fashion stalls so we’ll probably see similar concepts again.

Quirky Flea Market

screen-shot-2016-10-18-at-4-35-06-pmIt’s impossible to walk out of this market area without your wallet being lighter. There are vintage stores with Lennon style shades and antique jewellery. Funky t-shirts and shoes, cute printed notebooks and pouches, engraved plaques and posters, are all available at decent prices.

Diverse Musical Lineup

From Steven Wilson to Farhan Akhtar Live, Nucleya to Bhayanak Maut, there is no dearth of diversity when it comes to the lineup. Indie, electronic, metal, orchestral, there’s a little bit of something for everyone!

Brilliant Food & Beverage Stalls

Specialized mocktail bars, food stalls from all over the country, and an unlimited supply of alcohol provide the most amazing eats and beverages that you could want at such a festival. The drinks are usually given in cute souvenirs and if you’re a foodie there’s a lot for you to explore!
