Moderate noise level is the sweet spot for creativity.

Classical music can improve visual attention.

Stroke patients in one small study showed improved visual attention while listening to classical music.

Music helps us exercise.

music_8Research on the effects of music during exercise has been done for years. In 1911, an American researcher, Leonard Ayres, found that cyclists pedaled faster while listening to music than they did in silence.

Music stimulates your body.

Every time your breathing quickens, your heart-rate increases, or you feel a shiver down your spine, that’s your body responding physiologically to music. Qualified music therapists can use this to help stimulate a person in a coma.

Music helps bring back speech.
