MTV VMA 2017 Winners: Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Zedd, & More

The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards just happened in California and was hosted by Katy Perry, which apparently didn’t go as well as planned. Kendrick Lamar swept up six out of eight nominations and was literally the king of the show. A few changes in this year included a non-gender Artist Of The Year award instead of Best Male Video and Best Female Video. They also introduced an award for Best Fight Against the System, which recognized videos that “inspire viewers to stand up and fight injustice.” Each nominee in that category won, which is a pleasant surprise.
