Music is said to have no boundaries and this young lad from Bangalore truly reinstates that fact. We have been hearing about various child prodigies all over the globe, in the world of Djing, off late and here is yet another such youngster just brimming with talent. Presenting to you – DJ Atom.

Since the tender age of 5, DJ Atom had been fiddling with various computer applications and music software unlike other of his age and after getting an inclination towards DJing which he was soon introduced to, there was no turning back. Currently all of 7 years old, he is all set to perform at his first event on Children’s Day in one of Bangalore’s most popular clubs blueFROG.

In an interview with Times Of India, he mentioned how under the guidance of the faculty at Resonance Studios his musical adventure kicked off and soon DJ Atom came into being. While most of his friends considered Videogames to be cool, this prodigy of sorts sought to emulate his inspirations like dubstep legend Skrillex, Dutch sensation Nicky Romero, Steve Aoki and two stalwarts in the Indian music sector Vachan Chinappa and Nikhil Chinappa. Incidentally, it was Vachan Chinappa who was left in awe of the budding artist’s performance at a pub some time back.

Once at the console, the rather shy boys persona completely changes. He wears his cap like Afrojack, a loose T-shirt like Skrillex’s and shoes like Steve Aoki and of course spins the beats typical to no one but himself. He has already set his future targets, which is to perform at Ultra Music Festival, Miami and is surely working towards it. Going at the current rate, DJ Atom will surely become one of India’s most promising artists and we sure hope he does. He is already an inspiration to most children of his age.

So if you are in Bangalore this Children’s Day that is 14th of November, be sure not to miss out on his exhilarating performance at #backbenchersReunion at blueFROG on Church Street Bangalore.
