Major Lazer & Badshah's Genre-Defying Collab; Genius or A Giant Fail?

Posted at September 25th, 2017 | by Yash Vikram Singh | in Dance Music, Featured, Music, News

Major Lazer and Badshah‘s anticipated collab is out in full now. Indian rap mogul Badshah and Sony have been plugging this for months. It’s a bit of a far-reacher for any of the artists involved. Definitely for Badshah because it seemed like he had a better handle on it when the first teaser came out than now that we’ve actually gotten tolisten to it.

Obviously, Badshah and Major Lazer both have experimented with stuff before but it seems like all of them have seen better days when it comes to production. It seems off, the lyrics are sub-par and it all just seems really raw and premature. Nonetheless, it is a genre-defying collaboration.
