Krewella have built up a lot of hype around their New World EP that they released not too long ago. They just wrapped up their New World tour and now they’ve put the final piece of the New World puzzle in place with their collaboration with Yellow Claw.
The Krewella sisters came up with it when they “were thinking about how our multi-cultural experience, as part European, half-Pakistani girls growing up in Chicago and then moving to LA, and being able to travel the world, has made our life so colorful and has given us a unique perspective.” Jahan said.
Yasmine; “‘New World’ is about cultural diversity. Embracing your skin color, flaunting your differences. Loving your ethnic background in a world that many times tells you to hate it. The world is going to be a bunch of mixed kids someday. The real melting pot. That is the New World.”
The track is pretty neat featuring some heavy verses from the Krewella sister’s and a bangin’ Yellow Claw drop. Taylor Bennett also join them in the track for a powerful hip-hop verse. Check out New World below.
