Hit Machine Jason Derulo Is Coming To India & There's More Than SWALLA To Look Forward To

Jason Derulo has put out some truly record-breaking music and some of his music has really hit the mark. Most of us however, barely associate him with a couple of popular singles and haven’t really explored the artist beyond that. With his impending debut performance in India, coming up next month at the TimeOut72 in Goa, we’re really excited to see what the hunky performer has in store for us.

Tracing the timeline of when the American singer-songwriter landed on the world map, would be his debut single “Watcha Say,” in 2009, which sampled an Imogen Heap song, and we guarantee you’ve all heard, but probably didn’t even know it was a Derulo track. The single launched his career, gaining an RIAA certification of triple platinum, and sold over 5 million digital downloads!

More singles followed his debut album Jason Derulo in 2010, and his second album Future History in 2011, and his third album Tattoos in 2013. In 2014, ‘Tattoos’ was reissued as Talk Dirty and it debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart with 44,000 copies sold in its first week.

The latest album also had the infamous Wiggle, in collaboration with Snoop Dogg. It reached the top of many charts, got quite a few certifications, and even featured in a trailer for the 2016 movie Sausage Party. It’s an insanely popular track, and is still sampled in movies and tv shows.

Swalla, featuring Nicki Minaj, is definitely an iconic number. It’s reached gold, diamond, and platinum certification in many countries, many times over, and has hit high numbers in basically every pop chart out there. If Derulo‘s popularity was at all waning, this definitely put him right back in the limelight.

But apart from that, there’s a lot more amazing music coming out of the hit machine. His latest release with French Montana, Tip Toe, is another addictive party anthem that we’re totally loving. Accompanied by the fun music videos that’s he’s known for churning out.

Now the American superstar is heading down for this amazing new festival property along with larger-than-life artists like Wiz Khalifa and Martin Garrix, not to mention the host of many other international and homegrown acts. Jason‘s live performances are really special, also because he has amazing stage presence and is a fantastic dancer as well. This is going to be one for the books, and you can grab your tickets here: bit.ly/T72_BMS!
