Posted at January 4th, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in

The music at Magnetic Fields varied from chill electronic beats to rhythms that made you jump for hours. The Red Bull Music Academy, Border Movement & THUMP, and Resident Advisor Underground saw the most lively and energetic sets. Here are some of the international artists that we couldn’t stop jumping to:

Bilal Nasir Khan A.K.A. Rudoh is a music producer and audio engineer from Karachi, Pakistan. He combines influences from hip-hop, house, soul, LA Beats, and jazz into a captivating sound with squelchy bass lines. He played one of the last sets on Day 1 of Magnetic and was a refreshing, exciting sound.

Mumdance

Jack Adams, better known as Mumdance was discovered in 2008 by Diplo. He tries to bring different sounds and cultures together and his sound moves between genres from minute to minute. You never know what you’re going to hear next and it was probably the most versatile set of the festival.

DJ Koze

Stefan Kozalla is a German DJ and Music Producer, and is one of the most adventurous and consistent techno producers in the last decade of so. He is known for his mad DJ skills and his insertions of strategic lyrics in his tracks. The crowd couldn’t sit for a minute when this DJ was doing his thing.

Day 2 ended with a killer set from Boston duo, Soul Clap in the Resident Advisor Underground party, which lasted till sunrise. They are on a mission to change the world one dance floor at a time, and they certainly worked their magic on the dancers of the magnetic floor.
