India takes Tomorrowland by Storm

The town of Boom came to life this weekend when ID&T returned with the eleventh edition of the biggest music festival in the world! Apart from the uninterrupted live feed, the organisers had more than special giveaways for their Indian fans, introducing ‘Unite: The Mirror to Tomorrowland’ as a new beginning to provide a closer look into the world of giant disco balls, explosive butterflies, smoke cannons and confetti but more importantly, we had a special reason to be proud of, because the budding artists from our mystical lands made way to their fantasy land!

– Lost Stories

Lost Stories, the infamous duo consisting of Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi were entrusted with one-third the responsibility of representing India at Tomorrowland this year! The young guns have well established themselves as future history makers, quite literally and hey, numbers don’t lie!

The Desi Boys have already played at venues in countries like Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, France alongside Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke and just as we expected it was more than just a regular live set, thanks to the Bollywood mix they dropped just when no-one saw it coming!

– Shaan

Currently the most followed Indian DJ, Shaan was the one who first started it all in 2014, when he attended Tomorrowland as a performer! We don’t blame him, it was in his genes I guess! This guy has been a mainstay in the Dance Music Circuit ‘round the world since he was 15. Representing India second time in a row at the biggest dance music festival, he sure made all Indian fans proud!

Beyond that, he has been credited with a lot of “firsts” for himself including, a gig at London’s Ministry of Sound, an exclusive Back-to-Back set with Tomorrowland Resident Yves V, Deniz Koyu, Arnej & Ale Mora and also ending up as the Brand Ambassador of International watch brand – Ice Watch!

– Zaeden

The name Zaeden, isn’t just limited to gigs in the land surrounding Arabain Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean anymore! The young prodigy visited the Spinnin’ Records office in the recent past and as he promised, his collaboration with Borgeous was finally delivered on Friday night at Tomorrowland’s V session stage.

And boy, this Delhi-ite successfully delivered a strong message across the EDM community, that India is the next Netherlands in the world of dance music!

You don’t think he deserves to be there?
Well, how many of you have had your track debuted at Tomorrowland, that too next to an EDM veteran?

From local gigs to a International releases and a stage at Tomorrowlnad, they all have indeed come a long way and we hope more musicians like them take over the EDM arena.
