I would love to take vocals from Indian Songs: Axwell

The festival season in Goa might be over for now but the after effects of those brilliant acts still prevail. Some international artists made the first ever appearance in India and others have long developed a bond with Indian audiences. The Swedish maestro Axwell definitely falls in the latter category of artists. He has been performing for Indian fans since 2007 when dance music was still at a very nascent stage in the country.

Recently, Axwell headlined Vh1 Supersonic Goa 2015. He expressed his opinion on the possibility of incorporating Hindi vocals in his music in an interview with INAS –

I have been trying to figure this out, but you know it is so hard because I don’t understand the language. I would love to take some vocals from here and there which I’ve heard in the Indian songs, but since I don’t understand I might take a really weird sentence you know, and that won’t make any sense. So, it is kind of a hard thing to do.

He also took notice of the growing dance music scene in the country and added “It (India) is a great place to come and its (EDM party scene) will grow bigger. I just hope that the people of India will still stay excited like they have always been“.

While he stated language as a barrier stopping him from blending hindi vocals into his music, we would surely love to listen to the fusion. Plus, we can help pick him few good lines that would make sense. Run your imagination wild! Also, let us know in comments how do you feel it will sound. Good idea or not?
