Guide To Creating Your Own Alt-J Song

Posted at May 20th, 2015 | by Supreet.cheema | in Entertainment, Videos

Alt-J India Tour kicks off tomorrow and we know most of you are excited to see them live but for those who cannot attend it worry not. Thanks to two YouTubers, you can now recreate the alt-J sound at home. No expensive tickets, no waiting in the cues, not even going out of the comfort of your home. All you need is a microphone, a looper and of course loads of RICE CAKES!

Uploaded by Fleece Music, featuring two guys (possibly high), ‘How to write an alt-J song‘ shows how can you enjoy the snarly vocals of an alt-J song in the comfort of your own home while comping down rice cakes. Though there seemed no hard feelings, as the rice cake-eating duo have ensured that the video is all in good fun – “THIS IS A PARODY…nothing mean spirited towards alt-J.”

It also seems like that English lads alt-J have taken it in good humour, as they’ve changed their Twitter avatar to a picture of the snack in question.

The duo has also dropped their parody on their Soundcloud page as a free download titled, In My Butt (alt-J Parody). But jokes apart, DO ATTEND THE CONCERT Tomorrow because it gonna be AWESOME!
