Giorgio Moroder, Tycho & Explosions in The Sky to Headline The Journey by Johnnie Walker

Presented by Johnnie Walker, The Journey Festival is back to sweep you off your feet with a high tide of inspiration in its third edition this year. Celebrating people and ideas, the festival will feature an enthralling line-up of internationally renowned artists, performing for the first time in India. Included in The Journey’s line-up are the Disco & EDM legend Giorgio Moroder, one of the front runners of ambient electronic music Tycho and American post-rock band Explosions in the Sky. The festival is going to take place on 12th of December at Mehboob Studio, Bandra.

Giorgio Moroder, known around the world as the founder of disco, synth-pop and electronic dance music, is a three-time Oscar-winning and four-time Grammy award-winning record producer, songwriter and performer. Apart from this he also holds more than 100 gold and platinum records and has collaborated with such artists as Skrillex, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Cher, Blondie, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie.

Scott Hansen aka Tycho is a genius American ambient music artist and producer known for his splendid live performances where he perfectly blends together the two most vital element: music and visuals. His live shows are reviewed as soothing and deeply inspiring. Listen to his Live set here:
