Food Fests in the Capital to look out for this January

Foodies in the capital can rejoice as after a stellar December full of festivals like Grub Fest, we have a good number happening in January too. Winter is the perfect season to experiment with steaming hot delicacies and pair a drink or two with it. Here are our top picks for you to check out this month:

Great Indian Food Festival

Date: 22nd – 23rd January

Venue: Dilli Haat, Pitampura, Delhi


The Great Indian Food Festival is the dream for a street food lover. Witness the magical creations from all over the country being cooked in one destination. Famous street food vendors with generations of experience under their belt are coming up with their best dishes to cater for you. Delicacies from Amritsar, Chennai, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Hyderabad, and many more cities will be available for you to try! Dim Sum Festival

Date: 1st – 31st January

Venue: Asia 7, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon


If there was a momo festival last year, then of course there has to be a dim sum festival too. Asia 7 in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, brings you a whole month of flavoursome and succulent dim sums. World Food & Wine Festival

Date: 30-31 January

Venue: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi

Tickets: INR 100/- for Entry


The World Food & Wine festival brings your food delicacies and liqueurs from all over. This is the first time this event is being held in India and the objective is to let people try a variety of exotic food and wine under one roof. Delhi’s Delicious Food Tour Bus

Date: 23, 24, 30, 31 January, 12:30 PM onwards

Venue: Starting Point at Hauz Khas gate no.3, Delhi

Registration: INR 999/-


You can travel across Delhi in the SeekSherpa bus and try out the crazy street food you always wanted to. Within 3 hours, the tour will take you to 4-5 spots in Delhi where you can sample these mouthwatering delicacies.
