Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl performs with a broken leg on a Throne of Guitars

I guess, Foo Fighters took Raj Kapoor’s words “The Show Must Go On” much seriously, when Dave Grohl performed a live show with a serious leg injury!

Last month while touring in Europe, the lead singer fell off-stage leading to a crippled leg. Despite Grohl’s superhuman ability to play through pain, the band was forced to cancel numerous gigs including their headline slot at Glastonbury.

The five piece band returned to the stage and performed live at RFK Stadium Washington DC celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their album, on 4th of July!

The former Nirvana drummer rocked a purple cast on the broken leg and was comfortably seated on massive throne made of guitars which looked like the one featured in Game of Thrones just with guitars instead of swords and a massive Foo Fighters symbol behind him! EMTs held his leg in place while Dave continued to tear up the stage with his Gibson!

I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream,” he said.

The footage from the show later revealed that Grohl actually designed the throne while he was high on morphine and oxycontin in the hospital. You can watch the rockstar share leg-breaking story right here!
