Experience Lucky Ali Live in Delhi

The voice that has been a staple in the collective memory of our nation continues to work its charms and while he may not be as prolific or as firmly entrenched in the limelight as he once was, Lucky Ali still continues to perform and travel the length and breadth of the country making his mark in concerts. May  2019, brings the soulful vocalist to the city of Delhi and it promises to be a show filled with great tunes, magical melodies and a healthy dose of nostalgia.
Back in 1996, Lucky, after dabbling in acting and filmmaking was looking for a new creative outlet and found it through music. Although he faced a lot of problems trying to get labels to sign him up, mostly because of his lack of training in music, he never really gave up and finally managed to get an album deal. Titled ‘Sunoh‘, this release proved to be shot in the arm for Indian pop music and gave Lucky Ali almost instant fame, with ‘O Sanam‘ being hummed at campfires and pubs to this day.

Randhir Roy, a member of the events company that produces shows for the singer has spoken for all of us when he says that, “Lucky Ali has been loved and adored for his unique, fervent and unforgettable voice and it is an honour to be presenting such an iconic tour.
“His distinctly different voice and soulful melodies made him an instant success not only in the 1990s, but also a hit with the generation of today as well.”

While his distrust for the Bollywood industry may have distanced him from performing for movies, he is actively involved in his own work, even though a studio album has yet to materialize after 2011’s ‘Raasta Man‘.
