The Evolution Of Justin Bieber From Tween Singer To Worldwide Sensation

Posted at March 1st, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in

Justin Bieber started as a sweet, little boy from a small town in Canada who was accidentally discovered after his mom posted videos of him singing covers. This led to Scooter Braun, a twenty-something party promoter who help him reach Usher and launch his career, and he’s lived through a lot already in his 23 years.

His meteoric rise led to a huge fan following mostly consisting of tween girls who sent him marriage proposals and called themselves ‘Beliebers’.

With all the attention and the increasing bank account, he acted out like most boy’s of his age would, except unfortunately for Justin, his every mistake was recorded on camera and publicised. Whether he hit rock bottom or not is debatable but there was a time when he had hired a ‘swagger coach’ and he was also arrested for driving under the influence. He released an apology video for his behaviour last year.

In 2015 he bravely faced a Comedy Central roast and then released “Where Are Ü Now” with Jack Ü which went viral among his fans and the EDM community alike. He greatly expanded his fan base and has released a stellar ‘Purpose’ album. Skrillex has produced a lot of the tracks on this album, and they have been received really well. Justin has risen from the ashes of a teeny bopper and become a worldwide sensation, even scoring a Grammy for Best Collaboration on “Where Are Ü Now”.

Bieber has created many successful projects like a brilliant collaboration with DJ Snake since then and is soon to be seen performing in India as a part of the Asia leg of his Purpose World Tour. You can check out more details about his Mumbai event here.
