It’s time to pull out your “Coachella” inspired hipster clothes and head bands! The EMERGE Music and Art Festival is back this year and the lineup is guaranteed to blow you away. The festival, conceptualized in 2013 by Viacom18 and Vivo Mobile India, is known for the supremely underrated fresh talent it brings out every year on its platform.Since then, they have toured international biggies – Engine-Earz, Dismantle and Go Go Berlinacross the nation. It isn’t just any concert; it’s a celebration of ideas of music and art beautifully juxtaposed to feed the imaginative soul within you. Apart from music, you can expect stunning art installations, live art, sculptures and art by fresh and sometimes twisted artists across India.

The Festival is set to take pace in Bangalore on 28 February and Delhi (NCR) on 1 March with Grammy nominated Alternative Rock Indie band Alt J and BRIT award winning electronic rock group Rudimental headliningthe event.EMERGE will also feature performances by percussionist Daniel Waples feat. The Petebox,Parvaaz,Advaita and more.

Commenting on EMERGE Music and Arts Festival, Viacom18 Senior Vice President and Business Head – INS Jaideep Singh said in a statement, “At LIVE Viacom18, we always aim at going beyond norms and experiment with new forms of  music and entertainment. In India, live concerts and dance music have evolved and we can see people’s affinity to art as well. This year, by blending music and art, two of the most creative forms of expression, we envision a new experience for the creative soul. The response in the past two years has been overwhelming and I am certain that this year will be exceptional.”

Check out these beautiful tracks by Alt J and Rudimental you’re sure to hear at the festival.
