Absolutely, it’s that time again when you come across artists you haven’t’ heard about, genres you didn’t know existed and the fact that DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ voting has started!

Fans aren’t the only one who post their opinions about the ballot’s legitimacy, listed artists as well as ‘not the Top 100 DJs’ often take to social media and express their views.
We have compiled the reactions of some popular EDM celebs and others, who sadly, couldn’t make it to the much talked about list in the previous years. 3… 2… 1… Let it spin!
Members of the club-land like, the two-time winner Hardwell embrace the concept reach out to their listeners via Facebook and Twitter in order to maintain their position or improve on it:

World’s #2 Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike  launched a promo video to help boost their way up the standings last year. The duo’s massive live presence, big-room house hits and posts like these definitely acted as a catalyst!

Interestingly none of the veterans have launched any publicity drive, with Carl Cox, Avicii and Paul Van Dyk keeping quiet so far. Maybe the big boys let their presence and music do the talking.

However, artists like MAKJ take it to a completely different level with a pinch of swag,

Your vote for the “underground DJs” might make all the difference when it comes to getting real talent to the top, rather than someone with overnight success..
