Dubvision India Tour: 10 Tracks to look out for

Posted at June 11th, 2015 | by Sidhantha Jain | in

DubVision is a distinguished duo comprising of Victor Leicher and Stephan Leicher, who’re based in the Netherlands. The talented brothers are famous for providing dance floors with energetic and dulcet tunes. Their passion for music has led to great tracks, getting a lot of support from veterans like Hardwell, Tiesto, Sander Van Doorn and the whole EDM community at large. They are known for their cheerful melodies and big beats. With a style variating from progressive, tech-house to sweet house tunes, these Tomorrowland artists cater to a huge dance music audience.

Remember the name, ‘cause DubVision is all set to tour India this June at the following venue:

12th June – Kitty Su, Delhi
13th June – Kitty Su, Mumbai
14th June – Skyye Bar, Bangalore

Much excited? Can’t wait to attend the biggest party of 2015? We know that feel!

In the meantime, listen to our favourite DubVision tracks which we can’t wait to hear at their mesmerising performance!

  1. DubVision – Turn It Around

The duo’s name has become synonymous with melodically uplifting progressive house music. DubVision did a stupendous job at building this progressive track around soft and airy vocals before dropping into some euphoric synth work, not to forget a ‘sick drop’ placed pre-climax. ‘Turn it Around’ is one such piece of art which cements their position in the EDM market as a front runner.

  1. Michael Brun & DubVision ft. Tom Cane – Sun In Your Eyes

DubVision teamed up with Michael Brun and vocalist Tom Cane and ended up producing a huge track filled with a big infectious melody. The soothing vocals from the British singer help to bring the build of the song to life before the contagious drop. “Sun In Your Eyes” is one of the most successful tracks ever produced by the Dutch brothers.

  1. Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, DVBBS feat. Aleesia – Gold Skies (DubVision Remix)

The progressive Gold Skies by the mighty quad-squad of Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn and DVBBS with featured vocals from Aleesia took the festival circuit by storm upon its release. The mega big-room single received an electro rework from DubVision, where the track builds into the vocals like the original mix itself, but rather than keeping the focus there, keeping them short, it transitions into a more dance oriented drop. The Dutch duo nailed it with this one, take one listen, then maybe a couple more.

  1. Dirty South – Unbreakable (DubVision Remix)

The original version of ‘Unbreakable’ is as much of a progressive house tune as any, and DubVision’s version provides an all together different glimpse with mixed and matched lyrics throughout the song. They put their original stamp on the creative direction of the tune, raising the energy level on the track, severely distinguishing the hard kick drums, making sure that you are jumping to that bass at each breakdown.

  1. DubVision – Hollow

“Hollow” is one of DubVision’s massively epic summer progressive bombs which has experienced repeated plays from notable artists at major festivals like Ultra Miami and EDC!  The Leicher brothers have crafted a power packed single with rapturously melodic breakdowns, toe-tapping pad incorporation on top of a soaring overall sonic profile and polished with a whirling vocal delivery.

  1. Sander van Doorn, DubVision, & Mako ft. Mariana Bell – Into The Light

Passionate vocals, extensive melodies, and an uplifting feeling bring pleasure throughout DubVision’s collaboration with Sander van Doorn and Mako is capable of leaving any crowd satisfied. Supported by Mariana Bell’s sensational voice, “Into The Light” presents layers of high-octane dance elements which is reminiscent of a fusion between Sander’s joyenergising tunes and DubVision’s hard hitting bass, two elements that can’t be ignored when linked together.

  1. DubVision & Firebeatz – Rockin

The four-man collab track ‘Rockin’ is just Big-Room house done right. Firebeatz brought production icons DubVision into the mix to help them formulate a great build followed by a massive drop with an interesting melody layered with blaring bass and to top it up a post-drop build up that makes you want to lose your mind!

  1. DubVision – Broken

DubVision has been releasing quality tracks like it’s the easiest thing to do! “Broken” is one of their offerings containing a ghostly build with uplifting progressions and a big energy that is there with fun intent! The drop is melodic as always and the vocals attached, accentuate the mind blowing composition perfectly!

  1. DubVision – Backlash (Martin Garrix Edit)

Martin Garrix first debuted this beautiful edit at Ultra and has been cycling it through his sets since. Taking the signature progressive chords that DubVision is widely known for, Garrix adds in the power and drive to make this song forceful as much as it is uplifting. With banging tracks like “Backlash” and its remixes in their pocket, it’s clear that this Dutch duo isn’t disappearing from the mainstage scene any soon!

  1. Firebeatz & DubVision ft. Ruby Prophet – Invincible

Entitled “Invincible”, it’s one of DubVision tracks that says “festival season chart topper” with just one listen. This brilliant collaboration between Firebeatz & DubVision is the ultimate definition of full on progressive house with dirty Dutch elements. With all the right ingredients like the deep sweet and tender breakdown followed by the aggressive maddening hard style climax and euphoric synths sprinkled with vocals from Ruby Prophet this mix is set to drive the crowds crazy.

By the way, have you booked your tickets yet? If not, do it now!
