The Infamous DJ MAG Poll For Top 100 DJs Is Now Open For Voting

DJ MAG was always a polarizing contest that used to be taken more seriously but in recent years it has flown off the handles that has really put a hamper on it’s reputation. But they’ve taken notice of the rut and have made further efforts to fix it. If you want to cast your votes, you can check out their official link here.

 

 

They have introduced “Best of British” and “Best of North America” contests and instead of having people write-in and enabling artists that are big in Asia to hype it up by manipulative social media campaigning they will now be choosing the winners via a staff selected nominations in different categories. Sort of like the Grammys for Dance Music.

As voting for the original DJ MAG Top 100 DJs opened today, we’re already seeing promo video of many artists asking for votes, which honestly comes off as a bit desperate after all the over-hyped issues of the past few years.

 

 

They’ve also announced the winners for “Best of North America” and it’s a perfect combination of big names and underground artists. Check out the list below.
