The music scene is booming in Delhi, and a lot of musicians and artists have taken to playing gigs at Lounges and Cafes. From live music to electronic sets, indie to dance music, there is a lot of variety for music lovers. Check out our picks for the best nightspots in Delhi for such events.

Hard Rock Cafe, Saket


Hard Rock Cafe is legendary worldwide and when it finally came to Saket, music lovers all over NCR rejoiced. It has a cool Rock n’ Roll theme, with posters, guitars, and other paraphernalia decorating the walls and a lot of live music nights.

Raasta, Hauz Khas Village


Raasta has a whole reggae theme going for it, with tri-colored adornments and Bob Marley posters. They tend to host artists like Reggae Rajahs and Nucleya, and have given Delhi a lot of crazy nights.

Piano Man Jazz Club, Safdarjung Enclave


Delhi’s first Jazz club, they offer excellent live music and fine dining to go with it. Dim lighting, informal seating, and brick walls provides the perfect ambience for the great artists that they host.

Summerhouse Cafe, Aurobindo Market


Summerhouse has quickly gained a loyal clientele and they host regular music nights. It made the news all over India when Coldplay front man Chris Martin gave an impromptu performance last year.

The Backyard

The Backyard is situated just a walk away from the over-crowded Hauz Khas Village and is a stellar establishment. It has a lovely rooftop, and they have days like Pop Tuesdays and DJ’s lined up for Fridays.

The Flying Saucer Cafe, Nehru Place


This Cafe goes for more of an indie scene with artists like Hari & Sukhmani, Ayushmann Khurrana, & Hiten Panwar. They even have Bollywood nights for the commercial enthusiasts.

TabulaBeach Cafe, Asiad Village


TabulaBeach has been nominated for one of the best venues in Delhi for gigs. They play a lot of Techno and host a lot of underground artists. Upcoming musicians like Anushka + Agent and Monkey Junk have played here.

Antisocial, Hauz Khas Village


Antisocial is probably one of the most popular stops in Delhi for music nights. From live performances to Techno, to Dance music and underground scenes, Antisocial has hosted them all.

Bandstand, Aurobindo Market


A recent addition to Delhi nightlife, Bandstand has been making a name with their gigs. They have jazz sessions, techno DJ’s, soundsystems, and afrobeats.

Unplugged Courtyard, Connaught Place


Situated in the middle circle in CP, unplugged courtyard hosts very underground and indie artists.
