The Indian music scene is buzzing right now with new bands and artists just waiting to prove how wonderful they are. This generation of musicians seem to have a found the perfect audience too. We are curious, knowledgeable, forgiving and most of all open minded to give a chance to music of any kind.

So this Delhi- based four piece band Man.Goes Human, consisting of vocals by Kaprila and Paul, instruments by Noni, Paul and Shitij, is no different. The band has won a two month long Hindustan Times War Of The Jammers held at DLF Cyberhub, where 60+ bands participated. In August 2014, the band also went for a tour to Singpore, where they received an overwhelming response. Being praised by such celebrities as Ayushmann Khuranna, they became talk of the nation for their offbeat parody on the Indian Elections which went viral and was done on CNN-IBN.

The band launched its debut album on 28th of August at Barsoom in Hauz Khas Village. Calling themselves an experimental indie rock band with a hint of electronica, Man.Goes Human have major harmonizing and layered vocals with a huge focus on the bass.

A song from their debut album ‘Baba Black Sheep’ is probably the most addictive which is bound to become everyone’s favorite, just don’t focus on the lyrics really. A huge focus is given to the definition to the instruments being played in the songs.

Another song “Fading” is rather sombre to the other songs but a great one too.The vocals contributed by Kaprila can be considered one of the winning points for the band, as the breathy vocals add an edge to the songs.

Having performed for Apple, Radio One and Radio Mirchi, the band has even had their tracks compared to the likes of Led Zeppelin and Quentin Tarantino fillers. Their self titled EP is a seven track ode to indie rock. Listen to their album here!
