The Dance Music Industry is Reportedly Worth $7.1 Billion

The International Music Summit of 2016 took place in Ibiza and gave industry members and fans a comprehensive look into the workings of the business. An intensive and lengthy report was published, showing the phenomenal growth of the music industry as compared to the previous years.

The report states that the industry is currently at a $7.1 billion value, which is an astounding amount, irrespective of previous years. Although the growth rate has slowed down to 3.5%, the value is still 60% more than just 3 years ago. The future prospects are positive as the industry is constantly growing and a lot of dance music is merging with the pop market.
