Cons Of Staying Sober At A Music Festival

Posted at June 6th, 2016 | by Sidhantha Jain | in

Depending on whom you ask, alcohol can be both nectar from the heavens and a cup of poison, keeping in mind a limited number of drinks can be relaxing and good to set the mood, overexcitement can ruin your perfect night in one go! Previously we listed out advantages of staying sober at a music festival and now the Grapevine-er’s are here to shed some light on the cons of avoiding alcohol at the venue! What do you think about the following arguments? Comment below with your take!

You feel left out most of the times.

It’s your responsibility to carry everyone home safely.

Friends of your friends look astonished upon learning you haven’t had a hard drink ever.

You are the human towel for everyone.

You miss out on experiencing the different side of the music.

You’ll not have your share of “I don’t remember that” incidents.

Alcohol serves as a conversation starter recurrently with strangers!

Being high you can dance anyway you want and not give any explanations!

If you’re “trying” to stay sober, you might end up spoiling your mood and others too.

You are unanimously appointed as the trustee for everyone’s valuables and responsible for answering calls of parents/partners!

I love EDM, it loves me back. It pays for my food bills.
