Biggest EDM hits of 2015 yet

Posted at June 29th, 2015 | by Sidhantha Jain | in

We’ve heard some of the following tracks during live sets and others were announced after much tease on social media. It’s already the end of June and we’re counting down the biggest tracks of 2015 so far.

  1. Hardwell – Eclipse

Before dropping the track officially, Hardwell featured it as the opener on his every live set starting from UMF 2014. With a symphonic orchestral intro, a rapid build up and a head banging drop, all elements combine to make it a 10/10 musical extravaganza!

  1. Skrillex and Diplo – Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber)

The track is unexpected in all the best ways. The 4-minute vocal track combines the dynamic knack of Skrillex and Diplo’s love of dancehall stabs. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber sings about longing for someone who could comfort him in his time of need and in all, it proves to be one of the contenders for best tracks of 2015!

  1. W&W & Blasterjaxx – Bowser

W&W and Blasterjaxx have set the bar high with their previous collaboration ‘Rocket’ and the super-quad-squad doesn’t disappoint us even a bit with this one!  The festival oriented ballad has a rave-y feel to it and stands out ‘cause of hammering electronic synths, second to none build up and an expected massive drop!

  1. Alesso – If It Wasn’t For You

Alesso unveiled this track to help launch Carolina Herrera’s 212 VIP CLUB fragrances. An anonymous singer provides the emotional backing, complimenting the anthemic progressive melodies. The official music video is about a love story between a photographer and a dancer he is working with, also it features cut scenes of Alesso playing at various venues.

  1. Above & Beyond – All Over The World feat. Alex Vargas

The much awaited single was finally listed on iTunes in January 2015. ‘All over the world’ has a club oriented styling, airy vocals from Alex Vargas and faster beats than most A&B tracks but it still continues to maintain a lively trance feel!

  1. Zedd – I Want You To Know feat. Selena Gomez

This single from ‘True Colors’ arrived weeks after the duo’s dating rumours.  The collaboration feels familiar to Zedd’s previous works as he comes in strong with the prominent beats and stunning production. The verses build up slowly to a chorus that eventually explodes with loud singing from Selena Gomez and then enters a round of synth beats ready to rock your soul!

  1. Steve Aoki & Tony Junior Feat. NERVO – Lightning Strikes

“Lightning Strikes,” which features NERVO on vocal duty sound as impressive as ever and Tony Junior helps Aoki transform a simple track into a big one, taking it onto level II.

  1. Galantis – Gold Dust

An upbeat melody driven progressive house single with beautiful piano chords and powerful vocals makes it a great song, filled with a lot of emotion and a catchy tune. The duo brings an organic twist to the dance world that really makes them standout.

  1. KSHMR – Jammu

Recently, KSHMR unveiled his latest creation on Facebook. This LA guy brings an Indian twist to a progressive house tune keeping it fresh with his slamming piano chords and cheerful synths. This track has already seen huge support, and is set to be a festival favourite!

  1. Major Lazer & DJ Snake – Lean On (feat. MØ)

Since its release back in March 2015 this song has just grown bigger and bigger and it’s going to carry you through the summer!
