50 New Age Rappers Who Deserve Your Attention

Posted at May 18th, 2018 | by Sidhantha Jain | in Featured, Grapevine, GVO Blog, GVO Opinion, GVO Selects, Hip-Hop/Rap

This post is for anyone who has grown up listening to Hip-Hop artists of the likes of Eminem, Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and other “pioneers.” I’m not making a claim of them being the forerunners even today but they certainly did introduce the 80s kid to the world of rap.

What this 80s kid doesn’t realize is that a wave of new rappers has entered and stepped the game with their fresh concept, techniques as well as their content. However, the same kid fails to acknowledge their music because of the misconception revolving around the term “Soundcloud Rappers” but honestly, these set of old-school listeners are missing out on some astounding creations.

The following is our list of new age rappers excluding Kendrick Lamar and Drake since it’ll be equivalent to beating a dead horse. Please note, we are not describing any of the below mentioned artist to add any biased opinion, we’d let their work speak for them.
