There are so many music festivals circa 2017 that it is impossible to keep track. At first there were only a plethora of Rock or Pop shows but then Dance Music & Hip-Hop picked up and the original emperor genres followed suit. Music festivals are bursting at the seams with all kinds of quirky, different festivals adding up in the queue.
It’s just so hard to toggle through those festivals and decide which ones are worth experiencing and which ones are not. Which is exactly why we went ahead and compiled every festival we’ve ever written about and compiled a little festival guide of our own. Most of them are around India as well for your convenience.

Termed “Tomorrowland of the sea” often, Shipsomnia is all about taking things to the next level. They have themes too just like the maiden dance music festival around the world. Everybody in the dance music has heard about Holy Ship and how HAM they go. Just like they do in the Bahamas, it’s sister festival in South East Asia is just as epic. The Yacht Week is one of the most popular cruises in Europe. It is a series of festivals held at hand-picked locations. Greece, Croatia, Spain, Italy they have a handful of routes around Europe and all of them will leave you shaken to your core equally. Check out their website here.
The biggest electronic music festival in Singapore is a mayhem in June every year . The event has featured the likes of KSHMR , Don Diablo , Hardwell , Tiesto , Nicky Romero and a whole lot more.
Michigan wouldn’t be the first thing to pop onto your mind when you think of luxury but that 1-square mile town is all Electric Forest needs to show you the level of extravagance they play at. Their premier Frontier Suite Lodging consists of a 2 bedroom-condo accomadations.

The world’s most luxurious festival by a stretch, Secret Solstice Festival is held in the midst of Icelandic glaciers and it’s pass costs around a million dollars for this season. But they basically shove luxury down your throats for this much money. Round trip in a gulfstream G300 private jet, a 6 room villa for a whole week, 2 luxury cars with drivers and just the works.

The first time Coachella went down, it was as a protest by Pearl Jam in lieu of a mishap with Ticket Master. That is not at all the case now, thousands flood the Indio Valley in California including a plethora of celebrities to witness one of the best festivals in the world.

EDC has already established itself as one of the best music festivals around the world. Not only are they killing it in the United Sates with Las Vegas And New York but they’ve also spread to a host of other locations. The Las Vegas one’s ticket prices start at around $310.

Held on a secluded island in Budapest, this festival is 7 days of madness on a beautiful island that will blow you away. It’s huge as well, over 400,000 people join in from August 10-17th. The pass costs around $211.

Glastonbury is one of the most sought after festivals in the UK. It takes place in Somerset and stretches on for five whole days. It dangles around contemporary arts mainly but also consists of dance, music, comedy, theatre and other arts.

Ultra is spreading like the plague it is through out the whole world. They will be in a host of different countries by this years end but none of those compare to it’s original rendition in Miami. Ultra Miami is off the charts and so are it’s ticket prices. We saw deadmau5 among other DJs & attendees complain about ticket prices that stretch over to $500.

Exit Festival was founded in the early 2000s as a movement to fight for democratic rights but ever since that time it has been visited by over 2 million peeps from over 60 countries. It’s located in a medieval fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia and boasts over 16 stages with tons of other cool shit such as chill zones, sports arena, a 3D dance arena and just the works.
If you love hip-hop, then this is the ultimate destination for you. 3 days of mayhem with so many rappers headlining it’ll make your head spin; ASAP Rocky, Weeknd, Travis Scott, G-Eazy Chance The Rapper, Lil Uzi the list just keep going. It happens in London as well as in Frankfurt a couple weeks later.
Magnetic Fields Festival is an indescribable bit of magic tucked away in a nook of Rajasthan. The people, the set up, the music, the artists, the vibe, everything is tuned to perfection and there’s hardly a festival in India that can compare. Underground acts, secret parties, dungeon set ups, larger than life installations; there’s a lot to experience at MFF.
It used to be an off-the-grid underground festival which would remind you of the Mad Max movie, and now it’s transformed a popular post-modern fantasyland with pyrotechnics and last minute surprise lineups. All the genuine artists are here and it’s a blast.
The famous psy trance festival in Parvati Valley, Kasol is back with it’s fourth edition. The impressive lineup includes 17 live acts from countries such as Spain, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, Greece, Russia, and India. There will also be 15 DJ sets performed by artists from India, Lebanon, Jordan, Russia and Spain. We’re looking forward to the Parvati Peaking Festival!
It’s not as big as Coachella or Lolla but the artists that show up often trump other lineups. It’s right in the middle of a bustling city so you don’t lose yourself to the festival, rather you can lose yourself to the city.
One of the biggest cruise festivals in the world, it’s a 3 night, 4 day festival in Miami. It kicks off in the city and happens twice a year. Wouldn’t you just love to sail around the Indian Ocean on a massive musical party ship?!
Ultra Beach Bali is one of two Ultra Beach festivals and usually takes place in September. A two day festival, it takes place on the famous Potato Head Beach Club and has an amazing feel. It’s one of the best festivals in Asia.
Usually happening in May, the Hangout Festival is held on the sandy shores of Alabama. It’s the only known music festival in the US which is literally located on the beach and is definitely worth attending! One of the best beach festivals in the states.
Another festival on Croatia’s Pag Island, Hideout is for techno, house, and dubstep lovers. It’s an incredible June, summer party and always has a killer lineup! They cater to all sorts of dance music lovers and needlesss to say it’ll be blast.
A 3-day festival set to take place from 14 to 17 December 2017 , Wonderfruit Festival , stands by its motto of ‘Live. Love. Wonder’. It is held at the beautiful fields of Siam Country Club in Pattaya and is a celebration of art and music at its finest .
Maya Music Festival is a rather new addition to the music festival scene in Thailand , but it surely ranks among the top , for it hosts some big names in the industry. It takes place in Bangkok. It’s one of the greatest festivals in Thailand.

The Thai Lunar New Year is probably one of the best times to visit Thailand , for as part of the celebrations , apart from the fun-fare , a common custom has locals spraying each other with water with the belief of washing way the sins from the previous year. Recent versions of the festival has seen appearances from Skrillex, Fatboy Slim and ofcourse Carl Cox, according to whom this is the best festival in the UK. UK doesn’t have that many US-like festivals but this one is it. It resembles all your Ultras and Governers Balls’ and goes further beyond. It’s in London.
