An Incredible 'Sea Organ' in Croatia makes music via ocean waves

Ever been fan of artificial drum set playing the host for you, ring yourself to an unusual rhythm played by the flush blue waves at a magnificent 230-foot long architecture in Zadar, Croatia. Officially named as Morske Orguje or The Sea Organ, the architectural beauty makes use of 35 organ pipes and a number of tunnels and channels along with natural wind and waves of Adriatic Sea to create a melody that is sheer work of nature’s play.

Stunning as it may sound and as off-beat it may look, the architecture is famous across the world and witnesses the presence of tourist from across the world.  Yes, real and actual music that takes you one step closer to the nature can be well heard here.

Just next to this is a structured solar energy panel on the ground that creates stunning light each night as a reflection of the day’s sunlight and the sea wave activity.  The two thoughtful designs put up by world famous architect Nikola Basic are intertwined in such a manner that both of them create harmonious music arrangement by use of lights and music.

The architect is believed to be built on the inspiration line of the beautiful wave organ in San Francisco, the ones that amplify the gurgles of the Pacific Ocean. Built similar in nature to the ancient Greek instrument ‘Hydraulis’ that used water to push through tuned lines in order to create sounds, the structure is one of the key highlights of Croatia and calls for all music lovers.
