9 of the Best Live Sets from Vh1 Supersonic Goa 2015

In the last week of the very last month of the year 2015, hoards of music lovers and revelers made their way for an experience of a lifetime at Candolim in Goa. The otherwise sleepy town, played host to one of India’s most happening dance music festival, Vh1 Supersonic.

The third edition of Vh1 Supersonic truly outshined its past years in possibly all aspects. With such breathtaking stage setups as the Iron Heart Stage, which included such perfect attention to detail that it was surely enough to give several other international festivals a run for their money, and the Awakenings stage, that featured Adam Bayer, Joris Voorn & Luigi Madonna, the festival quite definitely lived up to its hype. Moreover, the lounges to relax at, the low priced beverages, state of the art lighting, production and visuals, the security which worked round the clock and of course the beautiful sunsets at the beach just sums up to prove why this festival is one of the most sought after musical congregations every year.

Furthermore, the festival presented some of the most talented musical acts from around the world. Here is a run through of some of the of the top live sets at Vh1 Supersonic 2015.

Joris Voorn

There was no other better way to draw the curtains down on day 2 of the festival than a performance by a legend of sorts in the techno music industry, Joris Voorn. The Awakening Stage was one of the more popular stage at the festival, and it surely enough sprung to life with artists like Adam Bayer, Joris Voorn and Luigi Madonna bringing in some positive vibes with their trademark music. Joris Voorn with his ability to produce a perfect blend between popular hits and the underground classics, received a huge turnout during his set. So have a look at this uplifting performance by the legend himself.

Ida Engberg

This mother of three children is truly an inspiration for thousands of women out there trying to build a name for themselves in the music industry or any other profession for that matter. This being her very first visit to India, she surely did make it one to remember, after a stunning set that got every one present bobbing to every beat.

Adam Beyer

Partner of Ida Ingberg, Adam Beyer is also a Swedish techno producer and DJ. He went on to create the Drumcode Records and in the mid-1990 rose to become one of the top Swedish techno artists. Listen on as he enthralls his fans at the Vh1 Supersonic stage 2015.

Sultan & Ned Shepard

Sultan & Shepard are a Canadian electronic music duo who often collaborate together for various shows around the world and also for their frequent releases of various music productions and remixes. They have performed at some of the largest music festivals in the past and here they were spinning some of the freshest progressive and electro house tracks at the Iron Heart stage at Vh1 Supersonic Goa.


Zeds Dead

Zeds Dead is another Canadian music duo from Toronto comprising of Dylan Mamid, or better known by his stage name DC, and Zach Rapp-Rovan, or Hooks. The duo have been producing since 2004 and are currently signed to the record label Mad decent. These extremely talented artists blend a variety of genres like Electro house ,hip-hop, drum and base and trap in their predominantly dubstep set.


Bart Skills

Holland has established itself as the home to some of the top DJs and producers and Bart Skills is one of them. His exceptionally well constructed music just proves why he is one among the few respected techno artists out there. He has produced and remixed tracks for Tronic, Break New Soil, Cocoon, Drumcode, Rejected and 100% Pure which have been internationally acclaimed. He has even worked along side some of the legends in the stream like  Joris Voorn, Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Nicole Moudaber, Kaiserdisco and Kollektiv Turmstrasse to name a few.



Erick Orrosquiet, an exceptionally talented DJ from mexico, who also goes by the stage name Deorro has been performing since he was 14.  He has remixed tracks from a number of international DJs like Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Gareth Emery, and many more.He has some chart topping tracks to his name like “Flashlight” , “Rambo” , “Yee” and “Five Hours”. Although not all the live sets have not yet been officially released, here are some of the fan videos to give you an idea of the madness that unfolded on the Iron Heart stage.


Grammy Award winning DJ Anton Zaslavski, or as we better know him, Zedd , truly put up a jaw dropping show with top notch visuals. His set began with the illumination of the Iron Heart Stage with the flash of a white light followed by a blackout and then his characteristic tunes seeping in and moments later the entire stage erupting into life with bright colors and visuals on the large screens. The whole set filled with fireworks , Zedd’s music and of course the wonderful supersonic stage setup took the performance to a whole new level.

The third edition of Vh1 supersonic was a culmination of 4 days of utter madness and some brilliant music ofcourse and there was no other better way to end the festival than an ever so emotional set by the man himself Sven Axel Christofer Hedfors A.K.A Axwell. One third of the legendary trio Swedish House Mafia , sent the audience into a frenzy by spinning some of the most sought after tunes until the break of dawn and truly reinstated his position as one of the Electronic Dance Music industries most respected artists. With some uplifting tunes in the foreground , confetti blasts , phenomenal lighting and some dazzling fireworks, the scene could not have been more beautiful and perfect for the conclusion of the third edition of Vh1 Supersonic.

These were just some of the many exhilarating performances at the 2015 edition of Vh1 supersonic but there were many other memorable moments and sets by such exceptionally talented artists as the Nervo sisters, Don Diablo , W&W, Disclosure, Dub Vision, Norman Doray and Indian sensations , Lost Stories , Arjun Vagale , Zaeden , Tuhin Mehta and many more that definitely left a lasting impression on their fans and each set played a part in the successful conclusion of yet another edition of this popular music festival.
