5 Ways You Can Participate More At Music Festivals

Posted at March 4th, 2016 | by Shivani Goel | in Entertainment, Music Festivals

Music Festivals are all about fun and experience and your attitude going in really matters. The more pumped, prepared, and excited you are, the better it’s going to be. So make an effort to participate and here are some ways you can do it!

Plan your Outfits

Instead just rolling in wearing casual clothes, make an effort to wear something funky. You don’t need to compensate on comfort but adding a cool element to your outfit makes you eye-catchy and is a great conversation starter. People will compliment you and there is a high chance that you’ll be clicked by festival photographers.

Chill with a Stranger

Meeting new people is one of the best things about a music festival. Even if you don’t develop it into a long lasting friendship, dancing with a stranger or just sharing a smoke and talking to someone for a few minutes is a great feeling too!

If you’re Camping, Go All Out

If you’ve set up camp on the festival grounds then a lot of your time is going to be spent here because you can’t be lurking around the stages all the time. Make your camp fun and attractive. Set up some L.E.D lights or a beer dispenser and invite people to chill with you.

Signs and Flags

If you really love an artist or if you’ve thought of something funny or cool to say then put up a sign on a totem pole or something. If you’re going for an international festival then it’s cool to drape your country flag as a shoutout to fellow country people.

Help People Out

Helping out strangers will make you feel good and make other people feel extremely grateful. Everyone loves a good samaritan and you’ll get awesome vibes from everyone.
