Music festivals are magical places where anything can happen. It’s a world removed from the harsh reality of the metropolitans and full of wonderful people and music. There are a lot of attendees who you would probably have a lot in common with and here are some ways you can meet new people to chill with at music festivals.

You are all here for the love of one common thing, which is music. It’s the best icebreaker and the best way to meet new people. If you’re dying to see an artist live and you see other people just as excited as you then it’s easy to strike up a conversation or just to groove with them on a song.

There will always be some way you can help people out. Whether it’s offering someone water or chewing gum, or helping them lug across a large bag. The minute you lend a helping hand, people will immediately be more incline to befriend you.

Photobomb

A funny, interactive way is to photobomb other people while they are taking pictures. It’s perfectly acceptable in such scenarios and it’s an easy way to strike up a conversation. You can even offer to click the picture for the group as an apology.

Campsite Interaction

The stages is where the action is but the campsite is where you actually get to talk to people sans the blaring music. Sitting around the camp bonfire or chilling with your tent neighbours is the best way to meet new people.

You’ve probably gone to the music festival with a bunch of friends but that doesn’t mean that you always need to stick to them. You can breakaway for a little while and explore the grounds on your own. This will give you your breathing space and also make it much easier for other people to approach you.
