5 Reasons to attend India's Biggest Festival in a Fort

2015 brings you the third episode of Magnetic Fields Festival and you need to experience the ethereal vibe of the place. It’s three days of living in a flurry of music and magic that no other festival can compare.

Set in a 17th century palace in Alsisar, Rajasthan, you’ll be transported back through the years because of the infrastructure and decoration. The organizers, blessed by the Prince of Alsisar himself, have added ethnic touches in the form of Bedouin style tents, decorated camels, local artisans with their instruments, and tea vendors serving chai in kullars.

Fusing this ancient, magical vibe, with new age electronic music brings you a unique combination and experience. The Red Bull Music Academy North Stage, the Heineken Desert Disco, the Resident Advisor party and the THUMP secret party, will together showcase some of the country’s more dynamic musicians along with a variety of the world’s underground artists.

Transported back in time, you can wake up in your palatial rooms or Bedouins and join everyone for some morning yoga. You’ll need the energy to keep up with the music that plays almost throughout the day and night, because you definitely won’t want to miss a thing!

There are exciting activities for the guests like star gazing workshops and treasure hunts. Sit in the circle of trust with your fellow festivalgoers and figure out the mysterious clues to follow the trail of the hunt. Wander through the Alsisar Mahal and explore the nooks and crannies of this marvel, and you may even come across a secret party or two!

End your last night with a sunrise party, which will rival anything you have attended before. Magnetic Fields Festival is a visual dream and not something you should miss if you can help it!
