5 Music Festival Picks for February

The Music Festival culture in India is bigger than ever. Each month has a host of festivals spread out over the country. We bring you our top 5 picks for February, with festivals ranging from Rajasthan to Goa.

The Sula Fest

Dates: 6th – 7th February

Venue: Sula Vineyards, Nasik

Food, Music, Fashion, Wine, Camping, Shopping, and Parties. This two day Gourmet World Music Festival is back in 2016 after a very successful and sold out year previously. 12,000 Sula lovers attended in 2015 and had a weekend to remember, and this year is slated to be bigger and grander in every way. Have a peek at how 2015 was to get an idea about this year’s festival.

Hill Top Music Festival

Dates: 12 – 14 February

Venue: Vagator, Goa

A mainly Psytrance affair, Goa brings you a hill top festival despite being a beach destination. From Arjun Vagale, to Raja Ram, to BLOT!, this festival is going to have a killer lineup. Goa doesn’t just need to be a December destination for music festival lovers. Check out last year’s after movie to get a glimpse of what you can expect this year.

Udaipur World Music Festival

Dates: 12 – 14 February

Venue: Udaipur, Rajasthan

A brand new festival to be held in the Lake City, UWMF is something to look forward to. A chill, 2-day setup with renowned artists from 12 different countries performing, this festival has been organised by SEHER. To know more, click here.

The Mahindra Blues Festival

Dates: 13 – 14 February

Venue: Mumbai, Maharashtra

This year MBF will be returning for the 6th time. It’s Asia’s largest Blues festival and was nominated for the ‘Keeping the Blues Alive’ award from The Blues Foundation of America. Get ready for 2 days of soulful guitar-ripping with legendary bands like Heritage Blues Orchestra and Keb Mo. Check out the 2015 after movie.

The Lost Party

Dates: 26 – 28 February

Venue: Saltar Lake, Pune

Last year’s Lost Party held in Lavasa was a huge hit, and festival lovers are dying to know more details about the upcoming editions. With artists like Dualist Inquiry playing his electronic tunes, this party is the perfect place to lose yourself in the music.
