1000 Fans play 'Learn To Fly' simultaneously to convince Foo Fighters to play in Italy

‘Foo Fighters’ is a legendary rock band and their fans aren’t any ordinary ones.
It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact!
Why do we say so?
Going by some of their follower’s approach, there’s no better way to invite your favourite artist to play in your hometown other than gathering a thousand musicians on a bright sunny day to perform one of their-idol’s biggest hits ever!
Don’t believe us? Take a look at the following video:

In this marvellous video, shot on 26th July 2015, 1000 Foo Fighters fans came together to execute a live performance of Foo Fighter’s ‘Learn to Fly’ with a wide array of instrumentalists including drummers, guitarist, bassists, and even a conductor along with their energetic singer friends!

Rockin’1000, the incredible group behind this whole concept, claim that, the band hasn’t played in Romagna since 1997. In a desperate attempt, the residents have been trying to get the rock band to visit their city of Cesena in Italy, and have been fundraising for the event as well as the video for more than a year! They attained success in crowd-funding the campaign and reaching their self targeted goal of €45,000 in May 2015.

After the group brings an end to their amazing show, Fabio Zaffagnini, the group founder takes to the five piece band and says; “I guess this video is going to be seen by a huge amount of people all over the world, but to be true it’s been conceived to be addressed just to five people. So to Chris, Pat, Nate, Taylor and Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters. Italy is a country where dreams cannot easily come true, but it’s a land of passion and creativity. So what we did here is just a huge miracle.”
It looks like we’ll have to wait for the Foo Fighters or Dave Grohl to come across this YouTube link and put their disciples’ out of misery by updating their social media with a “Yes” or “No”!

Keeping in mind what Dave Grohl is capable of pulling off; playing with a broken leg, having his doctor on stage to sing a White Stripes song, the Italian’s might be in some luck, getting him and his boys to do an impromptu gig! Either ways, there’s no reason you should miss out on this awesome jam session!
