Summer is officially here and along with it some amazing music festivals to attend this season. Venue: SVP Stadium, Mumbai
The world’s biggest dance party, Don’t Let Daddy Know, is coming to India soon and the event is happening in Mumbai on the 27th of May, 2016 at the NSCI Stadium. The first edition of DLDK India features the much awaited headliner; Ex- Swedish House Mafia Member Steve Angello. He’s back after #OneLastTour with SHM and he had even announced an India Tour a while back. Along with Angello, other international artists confirmed are Anjuna star ARTY, Third Party, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and DLDK’s resident DJ SemVox. The homegrown talent being showcased includes Anish Sood and Nikhil Kandhari. So we can expect a party like never before!

Venue: Richardson & Cruddas, Mumbai
The trap dons Yellow Claw are making their India Debut this May. The Dutch trio, consisting of Bizzey(Leo Roelandschap), Jim Aasgier (Jim Taihuttu) and Nizzle (Nils Rondhuis), rose to fame after founding and hosting the Yellow Claw Thursday night party at one of Amsterdam’s most famous night clubs, Jimmy Woo. Scheduled on 8th May 2016, the event will take place at Richardson & Cruddas in Mumbai.

Venue: Landour, Mussoorie
The 4th edition of the Big Gig Festival in Landour, Mussoorie is just around the corner and it’s a perfect getaway for this summer. Big Gig is a community festival which provides a chance for people to come and experience the life in the hills. Nature Trails and Heritage Walks, Open Air Cinema, flea markets, and music at 7550ft Highlands on the final day will surely be an experience that cant be matched.Taking place in Rokeby Manor, Landour, it’s happening on the 14th and 15th of May 2016 and it will be a great way to beat the heat for a few days.

Venue: Kasol, Himachal Pradesh
The Spacetrip Festival is all set to make its debut this year. The festival will feature some renowned International artists and is scheduled from 21st to 22nd May in Kasol. The lineup features the best of psychedelic trance artists from around the world including such powerful acts as LOUD, Major7, X-noiZe, Dirty Saffi and Psymmetrix.

Venue: McleodGanj, Himachal Pradesh
The third edition of this psy-trance, mountain festival promises 2 days of killer music, arts, entertainment, and mountain air. It’s promoted as a drug free event and 10 specially curated Indian and international DJ’s will be taking the stage. It’s going to be held in The Great Himalayan Resort in Bhagsu.

Ellen Allien, born in Berlin, living and working in Berlin and Ibiza, is one of the planet’s most dynamic party scenes. Since 1999 she has managed the label BPitch Control in Berlin. As a DJ she rocks clubs and festivals all around the world. She is a resident at many venues in Berlin as well as at major festivals in Germany and France. The label sLick! is celebrating it’s 5th anniversary at Kitty Su with this brilliant artist.

Venue: Parvati Valley, Kasol
The famous psy trance festival in Parvati Valley, Kasol is back with it’s fourth edition. The impressive lineup includes 17 live acts from countries such as Spain, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, Greece, Russia, and India. There will also be 15 DJ sets performed by artists from India, Lebanon, Jordan, Russia and Spain. We’re looking forward to the Parvati Peaking Festival!

blueFROG Pune is teaming up with Submerge and and are hosting the Norwegian prodigy FEHRPLAY on 6th May. Fehrplay aka Jonas Fehr is one of the hottest Scandinavian talents and redefines the sound of modern progressive house.
