10 Music Videos By International Artists That Were Shot In India

Posted at February 3rd, 2016 | by Sidhantha Jain | in Grapevine

While Coldplay‘s latest music video featuring the “Rani” Beyoncé and Bollywood’s starkid Sonam Kapoor, shot in different parts of India; Varanasi, Mumbai and Kolkata, apparently depicting a “Slumdog” image of the country, seem to have divided the internet users into two groups debating on whether International artists should be allowed to capitalize on the cultural heritage of Hindu-stan or not.

Well, this isn’t the first time, a western artist has visited India to get a music video recorded (in parts, if not as a whole), there’re the following producers too. So calm your bosoms about everything negative about “Hymn for the weekend” and enjoy the following stuff.

MIA – Broader Than A Border

Skindred – Kill The Power

Hilight Tribe – Shankara

No Rest For The Wicked Feat. Mahesh Vinayakram – Dub FX

Imogen Heap & Vishal Dadlani – Minds Without Fear

Mumford And Sons – The Cave

Iggy Azalea — Bounce

Major Lazer & DJ Snake Feat. MØ — Lean On

The Beatles – Across The Universe
