10 Best Hill Station Eateries

Posted at September 6th, 2016 | by Tithi Mukherjee | in

Heading out for a weekend trip? The hills always lure us to them. Amidst days of trekking and backpacking, you need to find that perfect little place to relax and gorge on some great food. Here are some of the handpicked eateries at some of our most favourite hill stations:

1.At Cafe 1947, they serve some of the most exquisite Italian dishes prepared with ethnic Italian cheese and spices. They have music nights to make your trip more fun.

2.Wake & Bake brings you an array of Italian cuisines, Middle-Eastern delicacies, fast foods, and plenty of beverages to choose from. Hangout with your group or just pick up a book and solitude, this place guarantees peace.

3.Shiva Café is a tribute to Shiva. You have to tread through a narrow trail leading to this café. Trance music makes this place popular amongst backpackers.

4.Shanti Café is the place in Kasol for when you have munchies. Non-smokers enjoy the food too because food in Kasol is pretty much awesome! Thanks to cafes like the Shanti Cafe that serves warm food.

5.Cafe Rudra is a very simply done, small cafe around one corner of the main Kasauli market. It presents you some delicious snacks along with steaming cup of coffee and rejuvenating music for your ears.

6.A cute little cafe situated by the highway, Lansdowne Travel-Trip Cafe has a small seating area, gramophone, a few books, walls decorated with quirky pics, and an antique store. Sounds like fun for travelers passing by!

7. No need to wait for nirvana anymore. It can be found in Bistro Nirvana which equals great food. Food after all IS nirvana isn’t it? Head over for their delicious Avocado Quesadillas.

8.Little Llama Cafe is your quaint little space where you can easily spend a couple of hours sipping the Hibiscus Ice Tea or nibbling on a variety of salads. With beautiful mountains evoking creativity in you, it is an exceptional experience to be here and enjoy a delish meal.

9.Café Chica is known for its lush greenery amid the mountains. Italian, Asian, Grill, Indian, European, British dishes make a perfect menu for the cafe. Dine under the stars to savour the real allure of the place.

10Glenarys is one of the prominent landmarks of Darjeeling since colonial times. They specialize in desserts and their banana bread is irresistible. Go experience its classic charm borrowed from an old era.
