The Chainsmokers debut album has got some pretty low reviews from the fandom and beyond but their popularity is so all consuming that it’s still topping the charts. They’ve reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart as they’ve sold 221,000 equivalent album units, including 166,000 worth of traditional album sales.

The Chainsmokers still have a loyal fanbase and their concert ticket/album bundle sales are also through the roof. They’ve received a lot of hate for this album but are still clearly standing by their work.

Although I’m not sold on the album, there are still a few successful singles in it. The Coldplay collaboration does hold some charm, and maybe The Chainsmokers will bounce back to the genius of the likes of ‘Roses’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ in the future!
