One of the best shacks in Goa, it is located in Assagaon. It is a cosy bistro inside an old Portugese villa with all the European delicacies under the sun present on the menu. Perfect spot for brunching!

This garden restaurant in Anjuna is a paradise for Vegans. If you like salads and juicing raw fruits, it is the place to be. They use the freshest organic ingredients and they’re all about keeping your diet in check and as organic as possible.
If watching waves swerve till they hit the beach and sipping beer calms your soul then this the place to be for you. Located in the heart of Baga, Brittos offers a wide array of choices when it comes to seafood and drinks.
4. Martin’s Corner
If Goan cuisine and paying homage to local cuisines is what you’re after then you’d hold Martin’s Corner in close regard. Located in Betalbatim, this is best suited for dinner with the tightly-wound and relaxing ambience.
5. Cape Town Cafe
It’s located right in the midst of all the racquet in Baga’s Tito’s Lane. Although, the presence doesn’t match the location. It’s actually on opposite ends of the spectrum. This cafe is specially in place for those who just want to take a step back from all the rush and hustle that Goa goes through, and just sit back and relax.
6. St. Anthony’s
This shack is a local favourite and many tourists. It has some dandy steaks and an exquisite North Indian dishes. Also known for having a ton of different sauces decorated with Goan spices. It is located right next to Britto’s also it’s numero-uno competitor.
Located at Anjuna beach, Curlies is one of the most synonymous shacks in Goa. Scyntillating ambience, great music, drinks and amazing food make this place a must visit!
8. Souza Lobo
Calangute Beach portrays of one of the calmer shades of Goa, and this restaurant has taken the exact shape of it’s vessel as it has a chill, low key and a laidback appeal with some finger licking seafood. One does have to wait a while before they can be seated, it sure is worth it.
9. Dream Catcher
If you’re looking at restaurants in Baga then this place is among the cream of the crop. It has some amazing finger food, you can get drinks at a price and the staff will take good care of you. Did we mention everything is really cheap?
10. La Plage
If classy is what you seek then this place is the buckingham palace of all shacks in Goa. They’ve got a French-Mediterranian menu and the Fromage will knock your socks off. And be sure to make room for dessert while you’re here.
Thalassa is located on top of a cliff in Vagator, it offers a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. It is an open air and authentic greek restaurant. Perfect place to spend a romantic evening with someone speacial.
